So. I am back in Taipei where there is good, stable wifi. Time to catch up on like, 5 belated posts :|
Well this is from Day 3. En route to Meinong, we stopped by QiShan which is the self-proclaimed "Kingdom of Bananas", because the area was a top producer of bananas back in its heyday.
And there's this shop selling banana ice, yumzzzz:
After stopping having some QiShan bananas, we headed down to Meinong, a Hakka town which is teeming with Hakka culture. It's also a very beautiful and quiet place, and we went up to the Xinwei Forest Park where you can see the town from a bird's eye view:
And went to the 古味客家菜 restaurant and had some super good Hakka food:
